In apr of 1971 I went to DC with the vietnam vets against the war. After a few days of sleeping in the orpen on the mall I went looking for shelter or at least a place to rest awhile, I ran into Allen Bridge who kindly took me to his and Yuris loft at sixth and F st above a bbq place. Allen let my stay for a time in his sleeping loft. I was sitting leaning against a wall when a poounding started up behind my head so I got down out of the loft went around the corner and there was Yuri pounding a nail tosuspend a plumb bob in front of a level It was a piece called bound brass- brass bound anyway I ended up spending about a mo with Yuri and Allen Yuri had a profound influence on my life. Yuri had some very different abilities that have followed me ever sence.I was very sad when I heard through internet about his death and wished I could have told him about what has happened in spirtual events since May of 71 Yuri could give you a great sence of well being with his mind .I would love to talk to someone who knew him I got a copy of his book The Studio from the Hudson River Muesum and copied everything from the net about him I could find. I would love to talk to someone who knew him When we meet he was 28 and I 29 Tom Noble

I must thank you for this wonderful vision into my uncle's life. Yuri Sc hwebler was a phenomenal Artist. I remember trips to Wash. DC. and seeing the Corcoran Gallery of Art. I would love to hear more of your side, because I was young but the man was a great ARTIST.

                                   Thank you Jennifer Connell
P.S. Any memories you would like to share would be greatly appreciated. My mom passed after him so I would love to have some more insight on his life.
